I had a great time at Le Nouvel Hotel. The location was ideal, just a block from bustling Rue Saint Catherine, and the staff were friendly and eager to help. However, I found the breakfast options a bit pricey and not particularly impressive. Overall, my experience was very enjoyable, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to explore Montreal.

My room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. I appreciated the large size, although the bathroom felt a bit cramped. The shower pressure was fantastic.
Service

The front desk staff were very helpful, especially when I had an issue with my reservation. They were accommodating and made an effort to ensure I had a pleasant stay.
Location

The hotel's location was perfect for visiting local attractions, just a quick walk to restaurants and shops. It's also conveniently located near public transport.
Dining

I found the breakfast a bit overpriced for what's offered; it could use some improvement. Other dining options weren't explored since I preferred to eat out nearby.
Facilities

The hotel had decent facilities, including a spa and pool, though I didn't use them during my stay. The underground parking was convenient.

7.4/10

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Le Nouvel Hotel. On the plus side, my room was spacious and clean, featuring a kitchenette and a comfortable bed. However, the hotel needed updates in several areas, including the lobby and the restaurant offerings, which were quite limited. 🛌✨ Overall, while the location was decent, some aspects of the service and facilities could definitely be improved.

Rooms

My Admiral Loft room was large, clean, and featured a stocked kitchenette, washer/dryer, and jacuzzi tub. However, it felt a bit outdated.
Service
5.0
The service I received varied; while some staff were helpful, I encountered issues at check-in, and the bartender was overwhelmed serving on the patio.
Location
6.0
The hotel was conveniently located with restaurants, bars, and shops just a couple of blocks away, but it was about a 30-minute walk from downtown.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were lacking as the restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner, leaving only breakfast offerings and limited snacks on the patio.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were average; the pool area didn't seem very inviting and navigating the parking was confusing and costly.

My stay at Le Nouvel Hotel was comfortable overall, with clean rooms and convenient amenities. I did encounter some service hiccups, particularly during breakfast, which left a mixed impression. However, the location was great for accessing the local dining and shopping scene. 🌆

I stayed in a condo unit that was large and spotless, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and the living space was spacious. Just a minor downside was the lack of a towel rack in the bathroom.
Service
6.0
While most staff were friendly and helpful, I had an unfortunate experience with a disorganized front desk during breakfast. There seemed to be rigidity regarding food takeout, which I found frustrating. Nonetheless, other staff members were quite accommodating.
Location

The hotel is in a prime spot near St. Catherine's Street, making it easy to explore dining and shopping options. It's a bit of a hike to Old Montréal, but walking to the metro was manageable at about 10 minutes.
Dining

I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, but the breakfast was well-prepared although a bit pricey for what you got. I felt a little limited by the rules around takeout, which put a damper on my experience.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities included a lovely patio area, where I enjoyed breakfast outside. Housekeeping was efficient, though I wished they had changed the cups in our kitchenette more often. The parking was reasonably priced and secure.

I had a mixed experience at Le Nouvel Hotel. While the location was fantastic and convenient for exploring Montreal, the room I stayed in felt dated and had a few maintenance issues. However, the overall cleanliness and restful experience in the condo made my stay enjoyable.

Rooms
6.0
The condo I stayed in was spacious and well-maintained, though it did come with a couple of quirks like the cramped bathroom space. I appreciated the comfortable king-sized bed and the amenities, but I also noticed some maintenance issues that needed attention, like the flush handle on the toilet being nearly detached.
Service
5.0
The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, providing clear instructions upon check-in. However, I had to wait longer than expected for my room, which wasn't ready until 4:30 PM. This left a bit of a sour taste despite the friendly demeanor of the staff.
Location

The hotel’s location was great, close to the city center and within walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shopping areas. It was really convenient to grab a meal after a day of exploring, making the heat during my stay less of an issue.
Dining

I didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant but did opt for room service one morning. The breakfast was satisfying and had a good selection, though it felt slightly pricey. I appreciated the quality of the food, especially compared to typical hotel offerings.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had solid facilities, including a laundry option in the condo, which was a plus for my stay. However, the on-demand TV didn’t work, and the fireplace was inoperative, which were a bit disappointing.

5.6/10

I had a generally good experience at Le Nouvel Hotel, although there were a few notable issues. The room was spacious, clean, and came with useful amenities like a kitchenette, which I really appreciated. On the downside, I faced some trouble with elevator access during my stay, and an incident with the staff left me feeling less than welcomed. Overall, it's a decent boutique hotel worth considering for its location and room features.

Rooms
9.0
My room was quite spacious and clean, equipped with a kitchenette, which made it very convenient. The beds were comfortable, and I loved the satin pillows that added a nice touch to the overall comfort. However, the bathroom door choice felt a bit odd.
Service
6.0
Most of the hotel staff were friendly and made my check-in process smooth. However, I did encounter a rude desk clerk upon arrival, which made my experience a bit frustrating. Thankfully, she eventually apologized and helped me to my room.
Location
8.0
The location of the hotel was really convenient for exploring Montreal. It's about a 5-7 minute walk to St. Catherine Street, and I found it easy to access public transport. Plus, there are plenty of shopping areas and restaurants nearby.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast offered at the hotel was quite simple but tasty, featuring eggs, bacon, and pastries. I would have preferred a bit more variety, perhaps more healthy options, but overall, it was enjoyable.
Facilities
5.0
While the hotel had a lovely spa and a small outdoor pool, both were not appealing to me during my visit. I noticed some construction was happening, which impacted the overall ambiance. The noisy elevator situation was quite bothersome.
